DHP Care secures loan to develop community services

Specialist adult social care operator, DHP Care, has expanded following a seven-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

The company is using the funding to acquire a new branch in Wakefield for its Prestige Nursing and Care brand.

The move will enable DHP Care to launch new services designed to help people live independently with homecare, healthcare, and nursing support.

The funding package will also safeguard 60 jobs at the branch.

And it is anticipated it will increase the business’ turnover to £10m.

Daniel Bamber, franchise director at Manchester-based DHP Care, said: “People are at the heart of this business.

“We created DHP Care to create safe, supportive spaces for people within the community.

“This support from HSBC UK allows us to open more opportunities to serve local communities, guided by our belief that everyone deserves comfort, care, and a place to call home.”
