Impact Futures Group (IFG), the UK’s leading training provider for the critical sectors of health and social care services has announced its acquisition of ABM Training.
An approved apprenticeship provider, ABM Training delivers health, social care, childcare, and early years apprenticeships in the South East, with around 600 apprentices on programme.
The acquisition marks another significant step in the mission of Impact Futures Group to build the leading provider of apprenticeships to Britain’s critical service sectors.
The acquisition of ABM further strengthens its presence in the health and social care market, to which its Tend Training brand delivers.
And it follows the strategic acquisition of Captiva Learning in August of this year.
Impact Futures Group was recently recognised by Best Companies as an outstanding place to work, ranking as the 6th-best education services employer in the UK.
“ABM Training has been growing significantly over the last few years, bringing excellent client and learner feedback that aligns so closely to the core of the success of the Impact Futures Group.” says Simon Rouse, chief executive of Impact Futures Group.
“We want to Give Britain the Skills to Care and with ABM Training we will further strengthen our position as the leading provider to Britain’s critical services sector.”
Simon Greenleaf, chief executive of ABM Training, added: “We saw in Impact Futures Group an organisation with the expertise and culture to successfully develop ABM Training, its people, clients and learners.
“The strong fit struck us from the outset of our discussions and we are confident that ABM will prosper under its new ownership.”
Impact Futures Group is backed by August Equity, one of the UK’s leading private equity investors.
Together they are building a new kind of learning group: one that puts people first, champions public service sectors, and delivers measurable commercial and social impact.
Celine Spencer and Kate Cook from August Equity said “We are delighted to support Simon and the team as they continue to grow the Impact Futures Group platform with the acquisition of ABM Training.
“It is a strong addition to the business giving further scale in the health and social care end sector that is key to the growth strategy of the business.”
ABM Training is the latest addition to Impact Futures Group, joining Tend Training, The Childcare Company, Captiva Learning, and First Response First Aid (FRFA).
