Specialist business property adviser, Christie & Co, has been instructed to sell the former care facility, Cerrig Camu in Dolgellau, North Wales.

Cerrig Camu, which was formerly used as a care home registered for 22 residents, comprises a main detached stone-built Grade II-listed property with 14-bedrooms and historic and architectural features.

It was previously a specialist care facility for those with learning disabilities, autism, and acquired brain injuries.

The site also has two cottages, which previously provided supported living across four self-contained flats and multiple barns, which have been converted to offices, media and sensory rooms, and storage.

The site is set within circa 9.4 acres of private grounds on the outskirts of Dolgellau, a historic market town in Gwynedd, North West Wales, within the Snowdonia National Park.

It can be accessed via a private and dedicated road off the A470, the main link between North and South Wales.

The care home ceased trading in November 2025.

Sam Fazackerley, business agent for care at Christie & Co, who is handling the sale, said: “I am delighted to offer this well-presented former specialist care home and supported living cottages.

“It was previously registered as a care setting, having C2 and C3 use, and it could potentially once again be used as such, or could be used as holiday lets, subject to any appropriate planning permissions being obtained.”

The facility is currently vacant and in a good state of repair.

Offers in excess of £1,000,000 will be invited on an unconditional basis.
